Ann Irwin receives
United Methodist Women’s Recognition Pin for mission service in the life at Grace.

Today, in worship Mrs. Ann Irwin was given the United Methodist Women’s Recognition Pin for her mission work in the life of the church at Grace. Mrs. Irwin has been the leader of the Operation Enduring Support ministry since 2013. This ministry supports our military troops around the globe with care packages at Easter and Christmas each year. The packages are filled with goodies as well as the love of Christ through devotional materials. Mrs. Irwin organizes the collection of items to be donated and the volunteers who pack the boxes.

The United Methodist Women ministry has three purposes:

  1. To know God and to experience freedom as a whole person through Jesus Christ.
  2. To develop a creative and supportive fellowship.
  3. To expand concepts of mission through participation in global ministries of the church.

WHY IS GRACE MY CHURCH HOME?

Cindy Grgurich

  Grace UMC is my church home because:

We are family;
We worship together;
We cry together;
We pray together;
We believe in the Triune God of the Bible;
We believe Jesus is the Word of God, that He is seated at the right hand of the Father and He is interceding for us;
We believe the Holy Spirit is living in each of us and working through us to bring the Kingdom of God to Earth;
We believe Jesus is still healing us physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
